Milford Sound

Now that we have dispensed with the adventure portion of Sunday’s journey to Milford Sound, on to the main event. It was simply awesome as advertised. The deep, steeply walled fiord is a site to behold. It was a chilly day, and it rained at times, but also cleared for long spells. We were dressed for the conditions and were comfortable. Rain can increase the number of waterfalls that cascade down the rocks. This is a “pictures can tell the story,” while not entirely capturing how beautiful the place is.
