Visby is a pretty little town but you can pretty much cover it in three hours or so. It features some quiet winding streets and the ruins of several Medieval churches and a fortress wall. It is noted for its roses but most looked to be past their peak.
It is a popular summer spot for Swedes who can reach the island of Gotland by ferry. The Swedish prime minister was evidently in town today, which added to the crowds. There appeared to be a variety of groups around pressing for their pet causes. We opted to return to the boat late afternoon to just hang out, so of course the clouds picked that time to roll in. Oh well, overall we can’t complain about the weather as we have mostly had sunny days. Here are a couple other images.

I'm surprised you actually went back to the boat to “hang out”. You two usually don't want to miss seeing anything. Glad the weather's been good – important when traveling and sightseeing.
