Once again, our niece’s travels are determining our own. Casey went from Spring semester in Paris (where we visited her) to Fall semester in Christchurch, New Zealand. (Yes, you’re allowed to be jealous of her.)
So off we go to see Casey in her new natural habitat. As it happens, we’ll be visiting her on her last weekend in NZ. After our visit, she heads back to the U.S., to stay with my brother Jack outside Los Angeles.
And that will lead to the second part of our trip. Our family will convene at Jack’s house in Thousand Oaks for Thanksgiving. It’s been many years since we were together for Thanksgiving, so I’m really looking forward to this part of the trip. For anyone who knows our family, neighbors might need to put their earplugs in…
