The Next Adventure

We have left the ship to start the final leg of our trip. It is raining for the first time, but the plan is to head to the Louisiana modern art museum. It is roughly a 40 minute train ride but our hotel is a short walk to the main train station. Last night we wrapped up with an outdoor dinner with Andy and Karen, but this time we kept it mellow. We had done the Prime C steakhouse again on Wednesday night and kind of collectively agreed it is one big dinner too many.  Oh well, it was fun.

We had a great time hanging with them; now we know somebody in Atlanta. We also met a nice couple from NJ, Vicki and Frank, and hope to link up with them back home. Frank got a bad bug and was under the weather so we were not able to link up with them for dinner on the trip.  Frank just self-published a mystery novel that we plan to download, probably later today.  (Devil’s Run – if anyone wants to buy it on their kindle.)
We want to give a shout out to our friend Marva from last year’s trip for the tip of going to the main dining room on the departure morning rather than battle the scrum that converges on the buffet. As the grand mistress of cruising, Marva knew all the tricks, but we are starting to get the hang of it.
We wondered what our Copenhagen hotel would be like, give it was relatively cheap (about $233) for this city. Turns out it’s very cool – clean, organic, friendly – and our room was ready before 9 am.  Very lucky! Now off to figure out the museum.
