Next Stop, Copenhagen

I’m soooo getting the hang of this. Today is our only ‘at sea’ day. I thought I might be bored, but after a massage/facial, dip in the thaliossis pool, and a light lunch, I’m happy to read a little, nap a little, and watch the boats and bridges as we sail toward Copenhagen. We’re near the suspension bridge that connects Sweden to Denmark, as well as lots of wind turbines – very cool. And it’s just chilly enough for me to need a sweater, but it’s still a pleasant afternoon.

Tonight will be an early dinner then an evening canal ride through Copenhagen with a bunch of our new friends. (Unfortunately, a few people have been downed by bugs. I’m hoping to avoid that!)
Once again, I’m pleased with the flow of this trip. Today is nice and relaxing before another couple days of hardcore touring. We’re on our own in Copenhagen, i.e., no organized tour, so we’ll undoubtedly walk around in circles and get lost – but hopefully find our way to interesting sites and encounters, like we usually do.
Jim is already researching our next trip with a fellow passenger from Ecuador. Hmmm, after palaces and medieval towns it might be time for a little nature, and what better place than the Galapagos Islands? But I’m getting ahead of myself – next stop, Copenhagen!
